Kolukkumalai sunrise starts from suriyanelli near Munnar at 4:30 am in morning. Kolukkumalai trip is a pure off road jeep safari of 14 kms through Kolukkumalai tea gardens. First we will take them to the sunrise point called singapara (Lion – Face) and then we will take to the highest organic tea factory in the world, which was built around 1 9301s by the British. This tea factory is still Functional and here guests will get a chance to see how tea is processed by orthodox method. Kolukkumalai is known for its picturesque sunrise and this tea factory. Guest can buy Kolukkumalai Tea from factory outlet which is not available in local market as they export Kolukkumalai tea rather than selling it locally. For sunrise trip guest need to start to Kolukkumalai by early morning 4:30 am and will reach back by breakfast time (around 10:00 am)
